Howl-o-ween at Lost Boy Cider supporting the Animal League of Arlington October 26thÂ
Support the Animal Welfare League of Arlington help raise funds for pets in need. You can enjoy pet costume contests, live music, and delicious cider while supporting animals in need. Come out this October 26 for a spooktacular fall festival with lots of fun activities including pumpkin painting as well as other surprises throughout the day.
Del Ray’s annual Halloween Parade- October 24th 2pm
Come join the grand tradition of Del Ray’s annual Halloween Parade as it makes its way through the streets. The event starts at Mount Vernon Ave., south of E Bellefonte, and continues down to the Mount Vernon Recreation Center playfields. Children, pets and strollers in costume are invited to showcase their scariest costumes.
Awards will be given out on-site so don’t miss this opportunity if you’re looking forward to a fun-filled evening celebrating costumes that are just a little bit scary but always stylish too.
Shlirlington Village Doggie Trick or Treating and Portrait Pop Up – October 30th
The streets of Shirlington Village will be filled with dog-centric trick or treating on October 30. Have a spooky good time at the annual Doggie Trick-or-Treating at Dogma. Each registered dog will get a goodie bag to use for collecting their treats. Stroll around the shops and collect your favorite homemade treats at Dogma Bakery. Get extra creative! There will be a Halloween costume contest which will be judged online based on photos taken during the event.
One hundred percent of the fees are being donated to Lucky Dog Animal Rescue.
Want a fun way to capture your pet in its furry glory before Trick or Treating? Stop by the Howl-o-ween Pooch Portraits Pop Up in Shirlington Village on from 10 am-1pm.
All attendees will receive free digital photos of their pups. Bring them dressed up in outfits or just bring themselves – this event is full of animals wearing everything from tutus and tails, masks decorated with painted whiskers…the possibilities are endless.
Howl-o-ween at Hirshhorn Sculpture Garden October 30th-9:30amÂ
The Hirshhorn Museum is hosting its first-ever dog-friendly event, just in time for Howl-o-ween. Join them with (or without) your dog for a morning of doggie costumes and coffee in the Hirshhorn’s outdoor Sculpture Garden
Nightmare at Barkhaus Alexandria October 30th 5-8pm
It’s your pup’s favorite season and Barkhaus dares to invite all four-legged friends and their parents to our second annual Halloween party! Costumes are highly recommended for both human and pups. There will be Howl-o-ween theme foods and costume contests

 Paws & Pumpkins Party for the Animal League of Alexandria October 30th 10:30am
Fun times for the whole family while supporting the Alexandria is a chance to get outside and carve your very best Pet-O-Lanterns on October 30 from 10-12pm. Turn pumpkins into something incredible and the AWLA will also have one of their best-dressed adoptables say hello in costume!Â
A registration includes reserving space on an assigned table outside at the AWLA, plus a supply bundle. Register by October 27th.Â
